The CausalLM 7B model is developed based on Qwen’s model weights and is trained on an unfiltered internet dataset. Due to the lack of rigorous review of the training data, the model may generate inappropriate content, such as pornography, violence, and offensive language. Users must take responsibility for checking the safety of the model’s output and filter out sensitive vocabulary. Given the limitations of computational resources, we are currently unable to perform reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) for ethical and safety reinforcement, nor can we apply restrictive fine-tuning (SFT) to train the model to refuse certain types of questions.

Installation Guide

To simplify the installation process, we provide a packaged startup kit, so users do not need to configure a complex Python environment. Just follow a few steps to start using it. Here is a detailed guide on how to obtain and install the CausalLM 7B application:

Download the Application

Note: This application only supports devices equipped with Mac M1/2/3 series chips.

Installation Steps

  1. Download the DMG image file from the link provided above.
  2. Double-click the file. After opening it, you will see the following interface:

Please drag the CausalLM 7B.app icon to the Applications folder.

  1. After installation, do not open the application directly from the Launchpad. Instead, go to the Applications folder and right-click to select Open.

  1. Open the operation interface in your browser at the address: http://127.0.0.1:5001/. Now, you can start using the CausalLM 7B model in your browser.
