Hello everyone! Today I have some exciting news to share: a powerful new player has entered the AI video generation field - Mochi 1!
I’m not joking around; just take a look at these amazing effects below, all generated directly by the model, and the best part? It’s open-source and free! Yes, you heard that right!
Aren’t the effects stunning?! These were generated by the Mochi 1 model developed by the startup Genmo. It shows impressive performance in both motion fluidity and understanding prompts!
However, the original model requires four H100 GPUs to run (which is an expensive setup that could make your wallet cry…), but! Don’t worry! We have a solution!
Thanks to a quantized version developed by K, we ordinary users can also get a taste of it. As long as you have a graphics card with 16GB or less of VRAM, you can start playing! Although the effects may not match the original, it’s still fantastic for entertainment!

After extraction, it’s best to avoid non-English paths. Double-click the “run.bat” file to run it.
Access via browser:
The software will automatically open in your browser.
Open the “Mochi_1.json” workflow in the extracted folder.
After generating the video, you can find the results in the “ComfyUI/output” directory within the file package.
